- 🔐 Google Sign-In: We collect your email & UID. No passwords are stored.
- 🧑💻 Alias & Password: You choose a nickname. Optional password stored locally only.
- 📝 Posts & Stories: Text-only, fully E2EE. We cannot read or moderate your content.
- ❤️ Reactions: Like 👍, Support 🤝, Us by Us 🫂 — one reaction per user per post.
- 📊 Analytics: Only crash and usage stats. No tracking or profiling.
2️⃣ Data Protection 🔒
Your posts are encrypted on your device using AES-256 before uploading. We never see the unencrypted content.
3️⃣ What We Don't Collect 🚫
- ❌ No name, number, or address
- ❌ No photos, videos, or media uploads
- ❌ No GPS/location data
- ❌ No access to contacts or messages
4️⃣ Data Sharing 🤝
We don't sell or share your data. Firebase only stores encrypted blobs — not readable by anyone.
5️⃣ Data Retention 🧾
Posts stay until you delete them. Stories disappear in 24 hours. Lost keys = lost content forever.

Must be 13+ to use Confess. If under 18, you must have parental permission.
2️⃣ Identity Rules 👥
Alias is mandatory. Don’t impersonate others or use offensive names.
3️⃣ Content Rules 📌
- 🚫 No content threatening national security
- 🚫 No hate, violence, or harassment
- 🚫 No self-harm or suicide encouragement
- 🚫 No media or personal identifiers
4️⃣ Reactions Only 👍🤝🫂
No comments. You can only react once per post with: 👍 Like, 🤝 Support, or 🫂 Us by Us.
5️⃣ Stories 📖
Stories are temporary, encrypted, and expire after 24 hours. No comments or reactions allowed.
6️⃣ Moderation 🔍
We can’t read posts due to encryption. Basic word filtering may occur locally during input. Metadata may be reviewed if abuse is reported.
7️⃣ Account Ban 🚫
We can ban accounts that misuse the platform, react abusively, or break content rules.
8️⃣ Limitation of Liability ⚖️
We provide the app “as-is”. We're not responsible for outcomes of how users use or interpret others’ posts.
